Although there have been many advances in digital technology and materials available to the fine art photographer, creating a digital black & white print that equals the essence of a traditional silver print still remains a challenge. This 2-day workshop for advanced participants will cover all aspects of creating the fine art digital black & white print, including digital camera capture and scanning, calibrating the environment, RAW conversion options, post-global corrections, monochrome conversion, alternative selective corrections, sharpening techniques, expressive contrast and tinting, printing alternatives, inks, and keeping properties and output paper choices.
