This 3-day workshop
provides a basic introduction to features available in Lightroom
and helps participants get started with the program Adobe created
specifically for photographers, allowing them to have more time
to spend looking through their camera’s viewfinder instead
of a computer monitor. Kuhlow will offer practical advice about
Adobe’s Lightroom software and answer questions about what
it offers to photographers. Participants will learn how Lightroom
could replace most or all of the work they do in Photoshop –
and do it more efficiently and quickly. Major topics will include:
What is digital workflow and how can it help me? Lightroom’s
light table: viewing and sorting images; Why should I care about
image management? Nondestructive image processing for all your
files; Lightroom’s modules; Frequently used shortcut keys;
Comparing Lightroom and Adobe Camera RAW; Setting Lightroom preferences;
and Review of Lightroom’s five rules.
