This 3-day workshop
will demonstrate techniques for successful night photography that
involve learning some different rules than what is used for daytime
photography. This isn’t “available light” photography,
trying to squeeze every last bit of speed out of your camera,
but rather methods for producing high-quality photographs at night:
determining exposure, composition, making the photograph, working
with extreme contrast ranges, and successfully printing the night
photograph. The workshop will include two field work photo expeditions,
as well as classroom instruction.
This workshop is suitable for both digital and film photographers,
although film photographers will not be able to develop their
film on-site.
