Workshop Schedules

Mesilla Digital Imaging Workshops operate through most of the year. Workshops are scheduled from late August through mid June annually. We take time off only during the hottest weeks of summer, on holiday weekends and on quarterly gallery opening reception weekends at the Preston Contemporary Art Center. Expect sunshine 350 days each year and comfortable temperatures throughout the workshops season.

Digital Imaging Lab

These virtual renderings of the building exterior and our computer lab in the Preston Contemporary Art Center facility currently under construction will be replaced by actual photographs of the building by late spring 2008.

The lab set-up includes 20 state-of-the-art computer stations (currently iMac 24" with 4GB RAM), Microtek Artikscam M1 scanners, and several Canon printers up to 24"

An adjacent conference room is available for critiques and presentations.

Workshops are designed for participants at various levels of technical proficiency, aesthetic sophistication, or both and are listed as Introductory, Intermediate, or Advanced/Professional.

The introductory classes are extremely intense and fast paced. Advanced workshops are designed to meet the needs of advanced clients. A specific level of knowledge and experience is required as a foundation for these workshops, as specified in each workshop description.

Workshops begin on Thursday, Friday, or Saturday mornings and continue until 5 pm Sunday evening unless otherwise listed. We strongly urge you to arrive the evening before your workshop begins, settle in, and enjoy some of our great southwestern cuisine.
